its all starts when barnaby gets a phone call of a terrifed woman and he and troy are on thier way. when they arrive the woman is dead and the killer suck her blood out, barnaby tries to pull the man of the dead woman but that is not a man. it is a vampire! and the vampire takes barnaby down and bite him in the troat and after that he runs away. troy calls after backup and a ambulance. after a few houres he wokes up and have a terrible pain in the head and after three days he returns to his home and work but stranges things happens to him. His skin has become pale, his teeth begin to become sharp as a knife and his eyes start to become blood red but what scares him most is that his reflection is gone and he can not feel his heart beat.barnaby notice that he's got superhuman abilities such as increased strength, speed, and can transform into bat and other nocturnal animals, but he also realizes that he's got some weaknesses. he can not withstand cross, silver, garlic and glorious water but the worst of him is that he can not eat regular food but he must drink blood, which he refuses to do.but the thirst for blood is getting stronger, and one night as he nearly kills his own daughter, but he manages to prevent himself to do it. and the next night he wakes up he has a dead deer in the kitchen. he panics will do anything to get rid of the deer and the blood stains and the next day feel hansig so grumpy so he attacks troy and throws him to the ground. Troy looks panic beaten on barnaby barnaby and succeed at realizing what he is doing and helps troys up but wonder what's going on.barnaby tells Troy and his family about what happens to him. they refuse to believe him, but then he shows by sticking a knife in the stomach. the others are shocked and panicking but barnaby is undamaged, there were lodge traces of knife marks. he says to cully and Joyce to go to London and stay there until he has become normal. if he would harm his family, he would never forgive himself. one day there will be a man and crack the door and introduces himself. His name was erik van hellsing and he said he could help barnaby with his vampire problem, that he needs to do is to mix all his vampire's weaknesses and make him drink it. but it would not be easy, he said if barnaby would get the idea that they would kill more erik chasing him because he was a vampire hunter.a week later it discovers new victims and all had become bittna. erik told barnaby it's the same vampire who bit him. barnaby knew the desire of revenge. all traces of the vampire lede at Badger's Drift, and where did the vampire to kill a young woman. then jumped on the vampire barnaby and wrestled him down, erik brought medecinen and silver bullets, Troy had with him a large silver cross. but the battle was bloody and barnaby began to become weak and when it did not look good for him so successfully erik killing the vampire. Then he gave barnaby his puffer and it immediately began to ache. His skin got their color back, his eyes were once blue, and his teeth were normal and that he liked best was that he could eat nomal food and he felt his heart beating again. but he lacked his super strength and speed. all laughed and customers once again live a normal life.
